Our Axe Handle comes from Ash and Rosewood Tree. Shaft treated with oil. The cutting edge is forged and tempered, please take care while opening the package and handling the axe as blade is sharp.

Dimensions:

Handle Length = 8.5 ” Approx.
Cutting Edge = 8.0 ” Approx.
Blade Width = 5.0 ” Approx.

(“Etching”): We use a method of etching metal in saltwater to put drawing on Axe so it can’t be erased even after 100 years.

Care instructions:
• Use wd-40 or Olive Oil to prevent the blade from rusting.
• Coat the blade with light oil (such as olive oil).
• Oiling the blade will give it a rich luster look.
• Do not store the tool in leather sheath for a longer period as it will result in blade staining because of the absorbent nature of leather.
• If stored in leather sheath, it is recommended to wrap the blade in lamination sheet first.
